What we built

We built a simple decentralized smart contract using Solidity and Remix IDE. The contract allows users to store and update on-chain messages in a transparent and permissionless way.

Why

We wanted to explore the fundamentals of DeFi and blockchain development by creating a minimal smart contract that demonstrates how decentralized storage and user interaction work without intermediaries.

How it works

  • Users deploy the smart contract on-chain
  • The setMessage function allows anyone to store a message
  • The getMessage function retrieves the stored message
  • All interactions are transparent and verifiable on the blockchain
