What we built
OPN Invoicer is a fully on-chain invoice and payment management system built on OPN Chain. Freelancers and businesses can create invoices, send them to client wallet addresses, and receive payments instantly — all recorded permanently on OPN Chain with no banks or middlemen involved.
Why we built it
Over 80% of freelancers in Africa struggle to receive payments from clients reliably. Traditional invoicing tools depend on banks that are slow, expensive, and inaccessible to many. OPN Invoicer solves this by putting the entire invoicing and payment flow on-chain — instant settlement, zero trust required, full transparency.
How it works
- Creator connects MetaMask wallet and creates an invoice with client wallet address, amount, due date and description
- Invoice is written permanently to OPN Chain via the OPNInvoicer smart contract
- Client receives the invoice and pays the exact OPN amount on-chain
- 0.5% platform fee is deducted automatically and the rest hits the creator wallet instantly
- All invoices, payments and statuses are readable from the blockchain in real time
