What is the NeoID Sovereign Badge Engine? The NeoID Sovereign Badge Engine is a dynamic identity verification protocol and decentralized dApp terminal running on the OPN Testnet. It bridges the gap between on-chain asset states and user-facing frontend metrics.
The system consists of a gas-optimized Solidity smart contract (ERC-721 extended) coupled with a premium, responsive cyberpunk terminal frontend built via Tailwind CSS and Ethers.js. Why Was This System Built? Standard NFTs rely on static metadata URLs hosted on centralized servers, leaving the token data immutable or disconnected from a user's changing web3 footprint.
The NeoID Sovereign Badge Engine solves this by introducing On-Chain Evaluation Context:
Dynamic Identity Progression: The smart contract directly parses the user's native network parameters (user.balance) in real-time. As the user's OPN balance crosses specific thresholds, their cryptographic identity tier shifts automatically between Bronze, Silver, and Gold.
Tamper-Proof Metadata Renders: All token metadata strings and badge tier structures are generated directly inside the contract runtime execution payload using base64 encoding—eliminating external server dependencies.
Immersive Node UX: The matching user terminal features a low-latency retro grid interface, persistent real-time event logs, and retro-synthesized audio feedback (Web Audio API) to transform standard wallet actions into a tactile command console environment.
Technical Specifications & Integration Architecture The codebase is split into two cleanly decoupled components optimized for deployment and code review environments:
