What we built
OPN Locker is a secure, decentralized, and permissionless vesting and timelock protocol designed natively for the OPN Chain ecosystem. It allows developers, DAO treasuries, and individuals to lock native OPN or any ERC-20 tokens under custom-configured schedules:
- Linear Vesting: Gradual token release over a set timeframe with optional cliff periods.
- Simple Timelock: Locking tokens securely until a specific calendar release date.
- Lock Transferability: A unique feature allowing lock recipients to transfer their lock claim rights to another wallet address on-chain.
- Modern Dashboard: A fully responsive glassmorphic Web3 interface using Ethers.js for seamless desktop/mobile interaction.

How it works
- Secure Deposit: Users interact with the
OPNLockercontract, depositing either native OPN or ERC-20 tokens. - On-chain Accounting: Each deposit creates a unique
Lockstructure tracking the sender, recipient, locked amounts, claimed portions, and vesting dates. - Linear Calculations: For vesting, the contract dynamically evaluates claimable amounts on-the-fly:
claimable = (total_amount * elapsed_time / total_duration) - claimed_amount. - Non-Custodial Claim: Recipients initiate claims directly via the frontend to transfer only the unlocked/vested portion to their wallet.
- Ownership Transfer: If needed, recipients can call
transferLockto transfer their lock metadata and claims to a new address.

- Milestone Escrow Integration: Introduce conditional lockups that release funds based on external oracle triggers or DAO multi-sig milestone approvals.
- Sub-accounting UI: Build customized management dashboards for DAOs to coordinate collective treasury lockups.
Phase 3: Financialization & Yield Integrations (Q4 2026)
- Vesting Voucher NFTs: Tokenize active lockup positions into transferrable ERC-721 "Vesting Vouchers." This allows users to trade or collateralize their locked tokens without liquidating the underlying asset prematurely.
- Auto-Compounding locked assets: Allow locked OPN to earn yield through native staking/yield routing, giving owners access to secondary rewards while the principal remains locked.
