What We Built
We built Finora, a permissionless smart contract project designed to explore decentralized finance and open financial interaction on OPN Testnet. The project demonstrates how blockchain technology can support transparent, accessible, and trust-minimized financial activities through simple EVM-compatible smart contracts.
Finora focuses on creating an open environment where interactions are executed directly on-chain without centralized control, while keeping the implementation lightweight and easy to understand.
Why
Because traditional financial systems often rely on intermediaries and closed infrastructure, reducing accessibility and transparency for users.
Finora was created to explore an alternative approach through open finance principles where financial interactions can be transparent, verifiable, and accessible to anyone participating in the network.
The project also serves as a practical implementation for learning smart contract deployment, on-chain execution, and decentralized application concepts within the OPN ecosystem.
How It Works
- Step 1
Develop and compile the Finora smart contract using Solidity in Remix IDE to create a lightweight and EVM-compatible financial interaction model.
- Step 2
Deploy the contract to OPN Testnet through MetaMask and execute transactions directly on-chain to validate decentralized and transparent financial operations.
