What we built
CemonkSwap is a fundamental Decentralized Exchange (DEX) protocol and ecosystem built on top of the IOPN network. It consists of two core smart contracts: CemonkToken (CMNK), a standard utility token, and CemonkSwap, an instant token exchange contract that enables seamless peer-to-contract swapping.
Why
We built CemonkSwap to provide a fast, secure, and permissionless liquidity solution within the IOPN ecosystem. By creating a direct automated exchange mechanism, users can immediately swap between the network's native IOPN coins and CMNK tokens without relying on centralized intermediaries or traditional order books, fostering better token utility and decentralized finance adoption.
How it works
- Token Deployment: The
CemonkTokencontract initializes the total supply of CMNK tokens and assigns them to the deployer/liquidity pool. - Liquidity Provision: The
CemonkSwapcontract holds a pool of CMNK tokens to ensure swap availability. - Buying Tokens (
buyTokens): Users can send native IOPN coins directly to the swap contract. The contract automatically calculates the amount based on a fixed rate (1 IOPN = 100 CMNK) and transfers the tokens to the user's wallet. - Selling Tokens (
sellTokens): Users approve the swap contract to spend their CMNK tokens, then call the sell function to exchange their tokens back into native IOPN coins instantly.
