What we built
Kill Zombie is a fully on-chain, luck-based GameFi world on OPN Chain testnet. Players open gacha boxes to mint zombie NFTs across five rarity tiers (D → S), stake them to farm GBZ tokens, trade them on a built-in NFT marketplace, join a presale, and swap GBZ ⇄ OPN through an on-chain treasury. Every action — minting, farming rewards, listings, sales, swaps — settles on-chain with no backend.
Why
Most "GameFi" hides its core loop behind a centralized server: drop rates, balances, and reward math you simply have to trust. We wanted the opposite — a game where the economy is the contract. Fixed 1B GBZ suply, transparent drop rates, and a swap treasury that anyone can audit. It doubles as a showcase that consumer-facing games can run on permissionless OPN Chain primitives instead of a traditional financial intermediary.
How it works
- Gacha — pay GBZ to open a box; an on-chain draw mints a ZombieNFT with rarity D/C/B/A/S at published odds (S = 1%).
- Farm — stake zombies in the Farming contract; rarer zombies earn GBZ faster. Claim rewards anytime.
- Marketplace — list any zombie for a GBZ price; buyers purchase trustlessly, NFT and payment swap atomically.
- Presale — buy GBZ at a fixed rate during the sale window.
- Swap — convert GBZ ⇄ OPN against the SwapTreasury at a set rate.

Seven Solidity contracts, all verified on the OPN explorer. Frontend is React + Vite + wagmi/viem, deployed on Vercel.
