BuilderToken What BuilderToken is a simple ERC-20 token built using OpenZeppelin and deployed on the IOPn Testnet. It demonstrates the creation, deployment, and verification of a standard fungible token smart contract. Why This project was created to learn and demonstrate the complete smart contract development workflow, including: Generating a secure ERC-20 token with OpenZeppelin Contract Wizard. Compiling and deploying the contract using Remix IDE. Connecting a wallet and deploying on the IOPn Testnet. Verifying the contract source code on the explorer. Publishing the project for Season 1. This project serves as a beginner-friendly example of creating and verifying ERC-20 tokens while following smart contract development best practices.

Roadmap Phase 1 (Current) Deploy and verify a basic ERC-20 token on IOPn Testnet. Publish the source code. Learn the deployment and verification workflow. Phase 2 (Next) Add minting and burning functionality. Implement ownership and access control using OpenZeppelin Ownable. Improve token security and testing. Phase 3 (Future) Deploy the token on the IOPn mainnet. Build a simple web interface for interacting with the token. Explore additional token utilities such as staking, governance, and community rewards. This project is intended as a learning exercise while gradually expanding into a more feature-rich and production-ready token.
